Don't see the reason you want?
"The Joshua Tree" came out, The Edge started going bald, the tempo slowed to a near dead stop, the liberal guilt started kicking in, and Bono had to start teaching us all about how to be a better person (at least as good of a person as he is). I never bought anything by them after that.
I agree with dom Kaos. Rattle and Hum was bearable but nowhere near Joshua Tree but since then all we've had are Bono's ridiculous over-sized sunglasses and over-inflated ego. He's from Ireland for Pete's sake - he shouldn't even own sunglasses.
Ummm, Till the End of the World, Zoo Station, Beautiful Day, Even Better Than the Real Thing, Stay, Magnificent, The Fly, Mysterious Ways, Hold me Thrill Me, Breathe, Wild Horses, etc., etc., . . .
Yes they have written a good song since "One," and that song is..."Walk-on."
Apart from "One", have they actually written a good song since The Joshua Tree? One good song in nearly quarter of a century...
